Valid Tracking Rate (VTR)

What is Valid Tracking Rate (VTR)?
The Valid Tracking Rate (VTR) is the percentage of all "Shipped by Seller" packages using a tracked shipping method by an approved courier, over a 7-day period. Sellers must maintain a Valid Tracking Rate (VTR) of 95% or higher in order to avoid enforcement as detailed below. Performance can be monitored directly in Seller Center > Shop Health.📍Note: This only applies to sellers using the "Shipped by Seller" method.

Avoid Using Duplicate Tracking Numbers
Each order must have a unique tracking number that corresponds specifically to that shipment. Reusing tracking numbers across multiple orders can lead to verification issues.Consider TikTok Shop's Official Shipping Options

What Happens If Your Valid Tracking Rate (VTR) Drops Below 95%?
If your Valid Tracking Rate (VTR) falls below 95%, enforcement may apply. For example, a temporary Order Volume Limit (OVL) may be placed on your shop until your Valid Tracking Rate (VTR) improves. This means that there will be a daily order limit placed on your shop. Once the daily limit is reached, your shop will be unable to accept new orders until the following day. This limit is determined by your historical order volume and will be reviewed weekly.
How Will I Know If a Tracking ID Is Valid?
For Single Shipping Mode users:
When you enter a Tracking ID in the Manage Orders section, the corresponding carrier will appear in the shipping provider list. After selecting the carrier and clicking Confirm Package, the order status will update to Ready to Ship (RTS). If the Tracking ID is invalid, an error message will be shown.
For Batch Upload Mode Users
When uploading an Excel file to Manage Orders, a tracking input confirmation will appear. If an invalid or incorrect Tracking ID is detected, it will be highlighted in red. This indicates that the invalid Tracking ID must be corrected and re-uploaded.
