Settlement on TikTok Shop

Payment Settlement Period

The payment settlement period is the amount of time from the day an order is delivered, to the day when funds are released to a seller for the completed order(s). There are five types of Payment Settlement Periods available on TikTok Shop:
  • The Introductory Settlement Period of 31 days.
  • The Standard Settlement Period of 8 days.
  • The Accelerated Settlement Period of 3 days.
  • The Express Settlement Period of 1 day.
  • The Deferred Settlement Period of 31 days.
After the Settlement Period, if the seller's account balance is positive, the seller has entered valid information in Seller Center for the seller's bank account, and the seller has a withdrawal method associated with the seller's account, TikTok Shop will initiate a transfer to the bank account. It usually takes 3 business days from the end of the Settlement Period, and the platform initiates a transfer, before the funds are credited to the seller's bank account.

Reserve Policy

Reserve is the amount of a seller's order settlement funds that is withheld by a third party payment service provider, at the instruction of TikTok Shop, for 30 calendar days after the delivery date of said order, to mitigate any risks associated with refunds, disputes, damages, and shipping fees that the seller may owe.
Sellers who do not meet their criteria for the Seller-Fault Cancellation Rate (SFCR) will be subjected to the Settlement Reserve Period Policy. Sellers may check their SFCR performance on the Shop Health page on the Seller Center.
