What is Commission Fee?

The Commission Fee is a specific percentage of a completed order's total amount charged to sellers by TikTok Shop for sellers' use of the platform.
The Commission Fee rate, inclusive of applicable taxes, including but not limited to Value Added Tax (VAT), is 9%.

1. How often is the commission fee adjusted?

There is no definitive frequency for commission fee adjustments. In case of a commission fee adjustment, TikTok Shop will inform sellers in writing via multiple channels, including but not limited to policies, TikTok Shop Seller Centre, and email.

2. How are sellers charged the commission fee?

The commission fee charges will be deducted directly from the order settlement.

3. Is the commission fee inclusive of tax?

Yes. The commission fee rates stated above include applicable taxes, including but not limited to Value Added Tax (VAT).

4. Where can sellers check the details of the commission amount?

Sellers may find the commission fee under the name "TikTok Shop commission fee", under the group "Fees". Aggregated data can be found in the Seller Centre > Finance > Finances overview, and the fees for each transaction in the Seller Centre > Finance > Statements. 5. What does the refund process look like?

If the entire order is returned, the full commission fee will be refunded to the seller. If part of the order is refunded, only the commission fee charged on the refunded item(s) will be refunded to the seller.

6. Will sellers receive an invoice describing the commission fee amount that TikTok Shop has charged?

Yes, sellers will receive an invoice the following month for the previous month's billing period. Sellers may visit Finance > Invoice CentrePlatform Service Fee to download the invoice.
